  1. Hello,

I have custom CentOS NAS that i am very happy with i have miniDLNA installed but that's not working for my TV since the TV can't play back all the codecs and miniDLNA doesn't offer tanscoding.

I have installed mediatomb and this DLNA sever works much better and now i can playback everything expect MKV file with DTS audio.

I could not find a working guide for my case to transcode on the fly MKV movies with DTS sound to AC3 to playback on my TV.

Now whenever i try to playback movies with DTS i get an error message "audio is not supported".

I have followed guides for Samsung and LG TVs but the problem remains.

Can you please be so kind as to help me transcode my movies on the fly so i can watch them on the TV ? ( i don't mean converting the files, because i can do that )

I can provide you with all the details you need.

    Thanks

Have you tried any other media server? Mediatomb development seems dead.
