Hi
I have a DVB-C HD Set top box with PVR. the videos are recorded in 'TVS' format (encrypted) & can not be played on computer, Is it possible to configure the set top box to record in un encrypted format playable on computer?

To to disable encryption, someone would need to be able to modify the box's firmware or software, and replace the existing firmware or software with the modified version. I doubt that anyone with sufficient skill to undertake such a project would want to be bothered with it.
Most people get a capture device of some kind and re-record the programs that they want to keep as the set top box plays them back. -
Thanks for the clue, I have an EZcap video capture usb device that I can try.
