    Dear All,

I'm new to this so please forgive any stupid questions.

I work for the Salvation Army as an AV technician and need to display part of a DVD that we own the rights to. It needs to go on a MagicInfo display system. This system only takes videos in WMV format. The original DVD has subtitles on it and show then when the subtitle button is selected. We want to put a chapter of the DVD into WMV and display the subtitles constantly.
    Is this possible?
I can already copy the DVD chapter to WMV using Shrink DVD and WinFF but cannot see how to have the subtitles on the finished WMV.

    Any help greatly received.

I think it might be easiest to burn in the subs with vidcoder. Convert to mp4 with high quality and then convert the mp4 to wmv with any software.

The process Baldrick outlined will work.

XMedia Recode can do this in one step. Just be careful to select the correct subtitles....ask me how I know this.
