Dish here in USA is now $120.00 US for me. No internet service from Dish. I pay for that through my land line provider. Another $40.00 per month for 1.2 Mbps DSL.

Just paid the bill on the 1st, $86.03 / mo. basic inet (plenty fast enough, no size limits) / basic phone (no long distance) / basic tv (+- 40 channels)
Yes, no, maybe, I don't know, Can you repeat the question? -
T-Mobile Cell phone, about $30US a month. Centurylink Internet DSL, 8Mbps down, 500Kbps up, $60US a month. No cable, just OTA TV and free to air satellite dishes.
The internet provider has speeds up to 40Mbps, but costs are close to $180US a month. At 20Mbps it was close to $80, so I dropped it to 12Mbps and it still crept up to $65, so I dropped it down to 8Mbps and it's at $60 now.Cable internet/TV is not available here due to legal problems with the subdivision and the cable provider.

The secret is to call them every year to "inquire" about why the bill is so huge. They'll look for a way to knock something down in fear of you switching. The squeaking wheels get the grease.
If you can reprogram your brain to like the free broadcasts, NetFlix, and an occasional rental, you can save too. -

I'm still using Verizon DSL (High Speed Internet) 1Mbps, but that fluctuates between 864Kbps to 1.184Mbps, plus phone in one package, $50/mo.
As far as being able to watch smooth video, I am able to watch 360p and on occasion, 480p videos from youtube without much hickups. But that's about it. I can't watch 720p or 1080p videos.
But I recently received an mail offer from Cablevision for 5Mbps for $24.99/mo. I mean, that's 5x what I'm getting through Verizon.
Is 5Mbps good enough for 720p or 1080p videos ? Maybe I will get the deal and actually use my Ruku or something else to watch tv, and maybe ditch Directv, too. -
That's about what I should be paying with Comcast however I call up once a year and plead poverty claiming I'm going to drop it and they lower it to about $140,..repeat and rinse every year when they jack it back up.
Internet 30/5Mbps
TV- Just below the full blown package with all the channels, I also get Starz.
Phone - all the bells and whistles and unlimited long distance.
I can also log into my account from other ISP and watch live TV or On Demand, actually works out pretty good because I spend some time at my Grandmother's house and pay for DSL connection there for $20 per month. I can watch just about anything I can at my house.
Lots of features but still pretty expensive.
