I've just started using Gom player to play some DVDs on my PC. The one I just watched is more than 8:34 but that's as high as the counter went so I couldn't jump ahead or back. Does anyone know how to correct that?
Thank you for any help!

Tried another player like vlc media player, mpchc, potplayer? And see how it works. The dvd might be corrupt.

It plays fine with Windows Media Player and on any DVD player I've put it in. It's a DVD I made myself and GOM has the same type problems with all of the ones I made. I'm trying to be able to take still photos from videos and haven't been able to do that with Media Player though there's no problem doing it with the GOM player, with whatever it's able to play which is all the mpg, wmv, mov and mp4 vids I've downloaded from the Internet. In trying to be able to take photos from Media Player I've done everything they suggest here:

but it doesn't work. -
