  1. Hello friends..I'm trying to reauthor a bad disc and not having no luck. I'm using DGIndex and when i load the vob files and hit save project and demux video i get a message that says couldn't write d2v file is it read-only?

How can I get around this ?

Store bought, factory pressed DVDs have copy protection.

    Oh.....OK.
I don't "do" DGIndex. If I need a simple, no menu DVD from another DVD I just use DVDShrink or DVDDecrypter.

  7. If all you want to do is demux (and you have the IFO), why not try PGCDemux?

I've seen the DGIndex message before but forget what it means and how to get rid of it.

You can also create fresh IFO and BUP files for VOBs using IFOEdit.

Make sure its saving project and demuxing to a folder on C and not at the drive with the dvd in it ... thats its default option ... that be where the read only error shows.

The second may be caused by a user of a limited account, use administrator account removes a lot of read and write access problems.
