I can successfully add srt subs to mp4 containers using handbrake but have not found a way to do it without video conversion. Is there a way to simply copy the video avoiding loss of quality and time and have the subtitles selectable (soft) upon play back? Any other software that accomplished this task easily?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Installed YAMB 1.6.0. Can't find any guides, it seems simple enough but I must be doing something wrong. On the Mux tab MP4 file added into Audio & Video window. Corresponding subtitle file added to Subtitles window. Output is xxx_1.mp4 in same folder. Click Mux.

Does this mean that YAMB is fussy about the contents of the .srt file?

  4. You should delete two lines in your .srt:

    (blank)
