Playback Problems

I recently burnt my first vcd using vcd easy and burning with nero. When I play the vcd on my computer and dreamcast, it has frequent very short pauses and the and sometimes the picture looks scrambled, sort of what playing a streaming video over a 56k looks like. The audio cant seem to keep up with the video either. Can anybody help me gifure out whats goin wrong here? Its doing the same exact thing on both the computer and dreamcast so I am pretty sure it's the vcd and not the player.

How did the MPG file you made (before burning) played back on the PC ? you may have had a problem right from the start.

The mpeg played fine. No Slowdowns or any interuptions.
