    Hi!

    I want to rotate video. But not by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. I want to rotate the video e.g. by 52 degrees.
    The older versions of Avidemux were not capable to rotate a video by an arbitrary angle. I have learned that Avidemux 2.6 can do this by using some OpenGL-Filters. But I dont know how to use this filter and where to get it.

    What i have done so far:
    1) I loaded some video into the editor
    2) I choosed Mpeg4 AVC (x264) as video output
    3) I clicked video->filter in Avidemux' menubar
    4) I clicked on the OpenGL-Button... But: there are no OpenGL-Filters!

    Now I'm stuck.
    Does anyone know how to rotate a video by an arbitrary angle?

  2. If you can't find the specific avidemux version that supposedly has this filter, basically all video editors can rotate at any angle eg. sony vegas, adobe premiere , etc.... A free one would be aviutl . Avisynth can do it too but it's script based , not user friendly to start with

    Hi, I have a similar problem. Did you find a way to install additional filters in AviDemux?
    Thanks.

  4. You can use ffdshow plugin, you may use http://avisynth.org.ru/rotate/rotate.html
    In both cases i would suggest explicitly oversample (upscale video even trough point resampling algorithm) at least 4 times to increase precision of the transformation.
