I think I uploaded a image of an old video that was converted by yes video at Wallgreen"s and I don't even know if this can be edited. I hope I uploaded it correctly? I'm a newbie and know just about zero of editing videos and pictures. I have ACD 2009 but maybe I need something better?

The actual "video" will be in the VIDEO_TS folder in the form of VOB files. If this "video" was made from photographs (slideshow in DVD form), you can do better yourself with the original photos and computer software.

  3. This video was made back in the 60'a and it is moving videos which was converted from film to 8 track to DVD to my Hard Drive and it has music on it that someone put on when converted because back in the 60's we didn't have any sound. I don't know anything about this so what software would I get? I want to cut out about 90% and try and put the rest together as one streaming video. What can you recommend?

There is a program that takes the MPEG video from the VOB files and makes it into one, large MPG video file. VOB2MPEG.
Once you have that file on your computer you can edit until your hearts' content with more free programs. My personal favorite
freebie editor is Avidemux(ignore the name, it works with MPEG video as well) and if you edit correctly/are not too picky with EXACT cuts, you will not lose any quality.
The only problem you will have is the two ways editors are set up(by their creators)....delete what you select or save what you select. That confuses newbies every time.
