Hi everyone,
I'm currently trying to frameserve these files with Avisynth via DirectShowSource() to MPC-HC looking for a rendition of the video with "hardsubbed" subtitles which, however, produces a grey screen in the respective file's resolution and working audio with file #1 and audio on fast forward with file #2.

After testing various files, I've realised that the subtitles must be reason for this. I'm trying to make it work with LAVFilters and DirectShowSource(), so Haali Media Splitter and FFmpegSource2() is no option for me. When using Haali Media Splitter 23062013 with Automatic Loading of VSFilter, it works though. Does someone know how I have to tweak my setup to make it work?Code:Avisynth 2.6.0 (x86) LAVFilters 0.65 x86 (LAVAudio, LAVVideo, LAVSplitter in use) xy-VSFilter 3.0.0.306 x86 MPC-HC 1.7.8 x86 (no internal filters used)
By the way, I also would like to know why Avisynth loads two splitters all the time.
Thanks in advance!

For dealing with embedded subtitles, LAV Filters require the "normal" DirectVobSub, NOT the 'auto-loading' one.
If you really need to use DirectShowSource() in this case, you'd better use a .GRF file
(and configure the DS filters correctly as well).
