I would like to buy a DVD film called "Ayurveda the Art of Being" and extract the english subtitles, because I would like to translate them to my mother language.
The film was released in 2002.
Unfortunately it will not play on my DVD Player, and maybe on my PC, because I live in another region.
I know that at EBAY, some Indian online stores sell this DVD as "Region Free", but I suspect that these DVDs are fake and have embedded subtitles because are very cheap.
Are there any workarounds to solve this problem?

It doesn't matter that your standalone DVD players can't play it. Your computer can still extract the subtitles. If it's a different region than the one set for your computer you can use up one of your 5 region changes to get it to play, but that's not necessary just to get the subs.

Thanks manono for your valuable input, and to Kerry56, these are not the film subtitles. These subtitles are from another movie, but thank you anyway for your effort.
