Has anyone successfully captured 480x480 with Virtualdub, under XP. I'm using a Pinnacle PCTV Pro and using pctvcap.dll (which I assume if a VFW driver?). I can capture at 480x480, but it seems to only be capturing one field, since the captured file is not interlaced. If I use a WDM driver and iuVCR I am able to capture both fields but have major audio sync problems.

Not sure what chipset you have.
But check here:

So, I guess I'm a little confused. This seems to be a WDM driver. I haven't used this one, but I used the one from iuLab, it seemed to work ok, but it won't work with Virtualdub, which requires VFW. The only application that I have found which works with WDM is iuVCR and I had audio sync problems with it.

Just for giggles I downloaded and tried the drivers you suggested and they worked wonderfully. I can now capture both fields at 480x480, and by using Virtualdub I am able to keep audio sync.
Thanks for the help. -
Does anyone know if the I/O Magic PC PVR card uses a BT chipset?
How would I find out.
If this driver will work for it my headaches with the Mother-in-Laws setup could be cured.
