Not sure if this is the right place to post or not, but after some googling you guys seem to be really helpful.
My neighbor had her sons motorcycle stolen and another neighbor had her security camera aimed right at the street the car would of driven down to get to it. Her security camera records the videos straight to an SD card in .asf format. I overheard them talking about the videos being "Still images" so i thought i'd take a look for them and that's exactly what they are. Roughly 10 minute videos where the last 10-20 seconds is actual video and the rest is just corrupted.
I figured i'd copy the 6 or so hours of footage to my PC and try and find a way to repair them to no avail so far. Tried Asfbin and Handbrake, tried using other players like VLC, they all give the same results. They just play the 10 or so seconds of video and ignore the rest.
Is it possible they just aren't salvageable?
Thank you in advance guys.
