    Hello, I have installed the new Avidemux version 2.6.9, and with this I have problems converting videos using Xvid codec, in every videos appears a green zone on the top, and colors are in partly busted, with some artifacts. You can see the problem in these examples. With the old 2.6.8 version there are no problems. What could be the problem?
    P.S I wanted to post in Avidemux forum but registrations are closed.

    Or use something else. I like xmedia recode and xvid4psp 4 for avi xvid conversions.

    More importantly, why convert to Xvid?

    Xvid is old technology, use H.264 instead.

    I know that I can go back to 2.6.8 but the new version can make x265 file.

    @Baldrick
    I also use Xmedia Recode, it's not bad, but I prefer Avidemux because is a more complete tool.

    @newpball
    I use Xvid because my TV can only read Divx/Xvid files...

    Is your TV connected to a Blu-ray player? Perhaps the player supports H.264?

    No, I use a usb drive directly in the TV, it's a Panasonic plasma. Unfortunatley it cannot read h264 videos.

    Who gives a crap about x265?, I thought we were talking about Xvid/Divx?

    I'm trying XviD4PSP and XMediaRecode but they don't have audio shift function (but present in Avidemux), so they are not good for me. So I'm forced to return back to the old Avidemux 2.6.8...
