Hope it's okay to repost this from the DVB section...
I've got a library of .ts streams, and really want to organise them in iTunes for playback on iPhone / iPad / ATV, but WITHOUT having to transcode or go the Handbrake route.
It's not to save time but to preserve quality - I hate the idea of encoding when it's already H264.
But the H264 within the streams is incompatible with native Mac / Quicktime playback and iTunes import.
I've tried MP4Tools, iFFmpeg, Subler, VLC Export, iFlicks, IVI, several options under Wine, and many others.
Here's a link to a sample stream - can anyone tell me how I can create an iTunes compatible .m4v from it without transcoding?
