Because of the better MPEG quality, i tried to convert AVI, captured with my MIRO DC10+ card, to MPEG with TMPGEnc. But i only see a black screen! Only audio is converted. Did i something wrong, the settings?
Can somebody help me please?

I believe it has to do with the proprietary codec. I had the same problem with my StudioPCTV. I simply used Virtualdub rather than the pinnacle capture software.

Can you play the captured files with the Windows Media Player? If not, you don't have the needed codec installed. Try installing a mjpeg codec, that should make the AVI file readable in Windows Media Player and Tmpenc.

I had the same problem.
Check the x in the Environmental setting and under the VFAPI plugin, if you have the AVI2OPEN DML file reader checked, and with a higher priority than the others, you get a black screen.
Try playing with the checks, uncheck all but one, and continue through the available checkboxes, then you will find the one that works.
I am using DC10Plus, and I have no problems after I unchecked the above.
