  1. hi hope someone can help me. im using TMPGEnc to convert movie so i can make a VCD but for some reason on this one file i get this message : illegal floating decimal point calculation order.
    this appairs about have way through the convertion. does anyone know what this means or how to stop it?

  2. What it means is that there is a corrupt frame. Bottom line, the file needs to be fixed before converting to mpg.

    What type of file is it ?

  3. aughhhhhh ok. well this is the name of it if this isnt what you meant then youll have to give me a hand with where id find the info. anyway ...its

    The.Princess.Diaries.WS.DVDRip.DivX-SMB.CD1

    i know i could cut it out but if i can fix it then ill know what to do if it happens again.

  4. It means you have some bad frames in the original file.

    Install DivX Antifreeze; find a link under tools and change in TMPGEnc. under Environmental settings: VFAPI plug-ins: DirectShow Multimedia File Reader priority to 1 by right clicking it and select Higher Priority
