In capturing section Adjust video keys does not work

I am using Powerdirector12 for capturing.Powerdirector is capturing my vcr vhs tape video audio signals.I want to correct color of my vhs during recording.My computer has video card .When I clicked seeting.A new menu appeard.There I saw adjust video menu .I clicked it and saw Brightness hue saturation contrastand sharpness keys.I tried to forward and reverse these keys for less or more brightness and saturation etc.but they did not move.
My operating system is Windows7 64bit.I checked Power director on My friend pc who has Windows XP operatng system.Adjust video keys are working on his system.What problem is with mine please guide.
