I'm verrrry new to video here; just got the Inspire 1 and some of this once in a lifetime footage we got last weekend won't play or import to Premier. I tried a few MOV repairers and each popped up with a message that the file is not a movie file. I have no idea; it is definitely a .MOV so it is my understanding that the issue could be in the codec, perhaps? I HAVE to get these files back; the first 6 work perfectly, the last 15 will not open.
Please advise; I got to get footage of NASA engineers and this is pretty much my worst nightmare come to fruition...

Why would NASA entrust you with their footage?
I'm sorry, but I'm not buying that B.S.Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........ -
Run a couple each of the good ones and the bad ones through MediaInfo and post the detailed text readouts here for comparison. If it's a codec issue, that would clarify it. If it considers the file to not be a MOV file, then you very likely have corruption and need a repair tool like Treasured.

And even a repair tool may not work if these videos were recorded on a bad card such as one that claims to have more capacity than it actually has so the later vids simply do not exist despite what you are reading.

Never used it, but it has high ratings (just 1 reply though). Looks straight forward enough....Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
