  1. This card is awesome when it works, but all too often, (more often recently) I get the "A device attached to the system is not functioning" from Movie Star and TWNH. Since I've owned the card it would happen 1 in 5 times and a cold boot would fix. Now it's 4 out of 5 times and cold boots don't get me anywhere. I've tried everything I can find on this forum to no avail. Could anyone please advise on certain tricks that might help solve this problem? I've also tried the card on a WinMe PC with same problems.

    My system:
    Windows XP personal (latest patches)
Asus P3B-F with P3-550 (never overclocked)
    256MB CAS2 PC133 (this new DIMM didn't help)
40GB and 80GB 7200RPM HDs (Ultra DMA mode 2 active, write caching turned off as a test)
Pioneer 104 DVD burner (PIO mode)
    Creative Live value sound card
    Netgear ethernet card
BIOS Disabled both COM ports and LPT1
DVC-II in PCI slot 2, BIOS forced to IRQ7 (not shared)
PCI slot 1 empty since some advised AGP card may steal this slot's IRQ.
    Movie Star 4.24 XP patch.
Have reinstalled and moved PCI slots a few times.

  2. this is a common problem with the dazzle 2, what i have done as well as some others if if you get this, i would take the side off the pc and by doing this it will let the sytem cool down . i then shut done the pc and wait for a minute or so, i unplug it and then hookin my dazzle card (unless yours is alreadt hooked on--just unplug your pc). i then plug my pc back in and turn on the sytem and it seems to work, thier is a dazzle 2 discussion board where these and other info about the card are discussed, here is the addy
