Ok. I can't install "mpeg2enc, mencoder e mplayer" because I don't use an admin password and as I click on the install button the answer is
"WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.
To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.
Password:Sorry, try again.
Password:
sudo: 1 incorrect password attempt"
So: no way to install ffmpegX?
can you help me?
thanks

The installation requires that the app uses the sudo command. This in turn requires a non-blank admin password [1].
You need to be loggin in on a user account with admin privileges for this installation.
If your admin password is blank (sometimes referred to as “no password”), you must first assign a password to your user account in System Preferences > Users & Groups (or: Accounts).
If you must, you may set the user password back to blank after installation of ffmpegX, as that is the only time that ffmpegX needs it to be set.
