  1. Hi,

A video got corrupted somehow on the memory card and it has three files of the same name but different format. It has :
    1.MVI_0611.DAT (1.50 gb)
    2.MVI_0611.Dmv (178kb)
    3.MVI_0611.mp4 (0 bytes)

So,Is there any way to repair the video ?

Did you try renaming the .DAT file to .mp4 and seeing if it would play?

    That's it?

You were in such a hurry that you failed to give us any details, such as what camera was used, what is the proper/usual/expected format, did you do anything to the card yet, what mediainfo says about each of those files, what os and apps you are using to determine what's there/not there and whether it plays or not...

Some of us may like to think so, but we're not magicians or mindreaders or miracleworkers.

If nothing works try video repair tool, open a working mp4 from the camera, then .dat file and see if can repair it. The trial version will repair half the movie.

  9. Did you RTFM? The Q&A on the developer page does address missing audio, and provides a possible solution:

Video Repair Tool – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

"Missing audio" is addressed about halfway down the page.
