please help ne on this,
I use ATI all in wonder to direct capture from to vcd format
120 kb/s audio---tried to change lower ,still skipping
use VCD Imager,and CDRWin for burning
have a new machine 1.6 G withlotsa memory
just wonder what seems to be the problem...

Have you actually tried capturing/encoding your video to the correct VCD specs?

Just having off spec VCDs can sometimes cause skipping by itself (regardless of whether the bitrate is higher than normal or lower than normal).

What speed are you burning your VCD's at? Try burning at a lower speed. I use 4X now as I have had audio skipping problems in the past which were solved by a lower speed.
