need help with the perfect svcd/vcd

i try 2 make the perfect svcd/vcd.
(( sorry for the bad english ))
but i have a few questions:
1. can some one explaine me what i need 2 put in each foldder and what does the folder mean ? (ext,mpeg2,segment,svc).
2. if i want 2 make sub. like in the dvd, what format do i have 2 make the sub ? and where 2 put it ? i want the sub 2be optinal, not permennet.
3. 10x every one that will help me.
