my advc 110 canopus works fine to windows movie maker, but cannot get it to communicate with sony vegas 11.
I can import and burn a dvd ok using windows movie maker. how can I set vegas 11 to work with canopus?

Record with WINDV or something else and then use it in Vegas? -
Seems to me Baldrick is right, friend of mine uses Vegas 10 with his ADVC 110. Maybe you need Win7 drivers? If your original source is DV and not analog, you should be transferring 1:1 copies via Firewire, not recording it.
