Doesn't help if it's not DVD-compliant which it almost certainly not is if it's MKV. The video probably has to be re-encoded.

    Try AVStoDVD.

  5. I wanna use say tmuxer to move a couple smaller mkvs into one trilogy.

  6. Move some compressed mkvs on a bluray to save space, because since they were compressed I could get 2 or 3 movies if lucky.

If you want a Blu-ray output, use BD Rebuilder with your MKV files. Set Mode to Quick Play. Import the MKV files by clicking File-->Import-->Video files. All three of the MKV files have to be in the same folder in order for BD Rebuilder to find them and import them.

The result will be a Blu-ray movie with a very simple menu which will allow you to select each of the three titles. Default output size is for a single layer 25gb disc.

If the video and audio in the MKV files are not already compliant to Blu-ray specifications, they will be re-encoded.

BD-Rebuilder and Multiavchd can do that.

No, your files were undoubtedly NOT compliant to Blu-ray specifications. Very, very few mp4 or mkv files floating about the net are made that way. So, you must re-encode them to make Blu-ray video.

Encoding speeds depend to a large degree on the speed of your cpu, and the number of cores you have. Length of your videos in time is also a consideration. Video encoding is one area where you need good, modern equipment, or just plan on doing your encodes overnight while you sleep.

BD Rebuilder is primarily meant for backup of Blu-ray, though it has many other functions that have gradually been built in. So menu making is very far down on the list of priorities, and the program was never meant to be a full fledged authoring program. If you want more elaborate menus when making a compilation Blu-ray from media files, you should try multiAVCHD, though I have to warn you that program is notoriously flakey.

You can change the name of the title when you set up the encode. Mode-->Edit Quick Play Menu. There are also some hidden options. Look in the HIDDENOPTS.txt file that is unpacked with all the other files in the BD Rebuilder package. You would have to add one or more of the hidden options to the INI/configuration file. But you probably still won't have the control you want over the menu.
