I zoomed around a clip using "crop". Preview looks exactly how I want the finished film to look. Exporting to file, it offers crop edges" or "resize to fit". Both options give a file that looks nothing like the preview - it keeps the original dimensions and just crops the image smaller and smaller on screen rather allowing the zoom to fill the frame. Clearly i am missing a simple step. But, after 2 hours, I cant solve it and need help please. I just want a file that looks like my preview window. Thank you.

I don't use that. Very few here do. See if this is any use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLKWImUZua4

What version should I be using? Will it solve my problem to change?

I saw this - it is a good one for demonstrating creating a zoom but does not deal with exporting to the finished zoomed version to a data file (I left a comment for battle_beast asking the same question)Last edited by davidwicht; 13th Apr 2015 at 13:57.
