    MPEG Streamclip is in the list of software at Videohelp. It requires the specific program Quicktime Alternative 1.81 to run correctly.

    In the past I have seen Quicktime load where I don't want it to as a default.

    How does Quicktime Alternative 1.81 install and how to prevent it from 'taking over everything'?
    For this reason also give a complete unistall procedure as well.

    Have other users had success in getting you tube content with Streamclip?

    [I have seen some of the stickies and those go back to 2008. Please provide any current info
    of interest on screen capture which might work better. A title or so is all that's needed for this post]

    I wouldnt use mpeg streamclip to grab youtube. I would try https://www.videohelp.com/software/4K-Video-Downloader

    But I have had no problem with quicktime alternative.
