How to compare audio/video tracks?

Hi,
Could you please help me on solving little issue:
I have 2 audio tracks (or video), let's say track "A" and track "B". The "B" is created by simply cutting some parts from "A". Now, is it possible to automatically determine which parts of "A" were cutted out? The problem is that I have a lot of pairs of tracks so, it's extremely difficult to make a huge amount of job manually...

I would try an audio editor like goldwave, audacity and see if it has any such feature. Like you can save the cut points and apply to several audio tracks. Check the goldwave forum also.
