Im converting my VHS collection to DVD. I have many files I wish to upload to Youtube. When I have finally got the file ripped to my pc desktop a 30 minute clip can be over 1 gig. This is a pain in the ass as it takes bloody ages.
What I want to do is convert the dvd file to another file so its not a big but the quality will still be good and will upload to youtube quicker
Any help here please.

Yeah with Handbrake it's a good solution or Format Factory also is good

H.264 should do fine for you in Handbrake. It's a piece of cake. You can also batch-convert in Handbrake.
