  1. Ok so, I thought I would give the all in one bundle of DVD2SVCD package I hear about on this site rather than individually go through the process as I do VCD's. I installed the software, went good, configured the programs (gui interface) according to the guide, and began to rip Shrek. Ten minutes later got a hardisk full error message!! Ive got a 20 gig HD, that had (or has) about 16 gigs free. So after I go the msg, aborted rip, checked properties on C: and sure as shit drive was full. Reboot about five times, and then in went back to 4.31 gigs used and 15.2 gigs free. Called Dell and they said it had something to do with fat32, and to also Defrag!?!? What gives? Anyone have any idea, is 15 gigs free space not enough to make a SVCD? Some suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance because Im kindof hardware illiterate.

    Cheers T.

  2. if dvd2svcd outputs an intermediate .avi(huffyuv) to save time during multipass encoding then 15gb is less than half of what you'd need for a 90min movie
