  1. I need some kind of inexpensive miniature self contained tubular camera for clipping to the side arm of my glasses. Almost like you would stick a pen or pencil along your ear? ( similar to that Looxcie, which I wouldn't touch and I understand has now been discontinued ) Ideally it would have 1920x1080p resolution at 30 FPS, and a focal distance from maybe 6 inches to infinity, with a USB port and a simple on/off push button in the back end. Almost like a pen camera, except with the lens at the end instead of on the side?

    Thanks.

I don't think you will ever find a camera with all your specifications, especially not inexpensively. They do make plenty of very small cameras, but then you would need a small DVR. (Video recorder) And most self contained very small cameras have little room for batteries, so only record a fairly short video.

What I have used is a Mobius self contained camera. About $70 US. It's about the size of a small matchbox. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mobius-ActionCam-Full-HD-Sports-Camera-1080P-30FPS-720P-60FPS-...306?rmvSB=true It's self contained, though you might add a external power source for longer video time. I use a USB battery pack and a 64GB micro sdhc card and get about 7 hours of high quality HD video and audio. I zip tie it to the bill of a baseball cap and run the power lead to the 5VDC/2A USB battery pack in a pocket. Only a few people have noticed it in use.

You can try a internet search for ' spy cameras ' to find a smaller inexpensive camera, but you are likely to find a lot of real junk with false specifications.

I have the same camera redwudz recommends and it produces surprisingly good quality for the size it is. The lens is small, so you can easily hide it in hats with a small hole in the front.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

  4. I've been using this Camstick Pro but it's only 640x480 and doesn't attach to my glasses side arm like I was looking for.
