Youtube RTMP Protocol issue.

Hey guys, I had a tune on 12" vinyl and had copied it to mp3 version years ago but the copied version was never clean and since I had sold me record collection I don't have that vinyl anymore, I found that exact version on youtube but cannot download due to the new RTMP Protocol issue, anything I can do here please since that tune is not available anywhere for purchase in mp3 format?

MassTube gets it easily. Unfortunately, although it shows the audio files separately, one has to donate to be able to get them. But it's still easy enough to get the video and extract the audio. I use the free AoE Audio Extractor to extract the audio and it can also convert to MP3 at the same time.

I've never had the problem when being careful about installing and refusing the crap. I didn't realize until after I posted and afterwards tested getting the audio that, although it shows the MP3 audio, you couldn't actually get it until donating. All I've ever been interested in is the videos themselves and then I've always extracted the audio separately for use later. To each his own but I've usually found MassTube to suit my needs. I'm glad, though, to see some of the other good ones listed.

In addition, Youtube-dl being command-based, is a pain to use.

Download it from this site. I doubt their site had a version with viruses but this site is guaranteed not to have any, no matter what Mozilla says. Maybe there's something about the crap that it wants to install if you let it that triggers the virus alert:

Again, be careful when installing. Do a custom install so you can make sure not to get the crap.
