6) paste the code

ok you can use user agent switch addon and adblock pus addon on firefox
1)switch to iphone 3.0
2) reload your video
3) click ABP (adblock plus) icon click Open blockable items
4) search for 'mp4' (without ' ')

Yhe nessage I get when trying to use this extension is as follows:
Access to this resource was forbidden by the server.

It seem like every year they try to come up with new ways to limit access to the videos you pay to watch.

Any suggestion on a new option to download or capture video from new.livestream.com?

Any update on the downloader? This year it can't seem to find the server.

The requested URL /events/4/b5/e7/000000000047e5b4/39/39b03fca-27fa-4a52-b305-446f859de955_678.mp4 was not found on this server.

The video can be found here. I have looked at the source code but it will not let me access the MP4 files directly. Maybe I am just doing something wrong!

Any and all help appreciated!

(You may need to get your own tokens if these don't work. You can do it by running a network sniffer and getting the .f4m manifests yourself.)

This forum has been extremely helpful and I want to thank all who have provided help.

It seems to me that the way in which video is being streamed is always changing, and perhaps to minimize the success of those trying to download it. While I have been having success with a Firefox added on call Video DownloadHelper 5 to download most of what I have been looking for from www.livestream.com, I have now come across a video that this does not appear to work with.

I have also tried youtube-dl, which seems to find something as does DownloadHelper but they both get an error that the content was too short.

The video I am trying to pull down can be found on either of these two links:

It is the 4.2.16 Holy Cross at Navy Men's Lacrosse game.

It seems as though it may be being streamed in very small pieces but I am at a loss as to how to capture any of it.

EDIT: spoke to soon, looks like it's pulling the video in a billion fragments in MP4 format... I read the command line options but can't seem to find anything that says that it will be joined, or a way to write to 1 file. I tried the --no-part option but it doesnt' look like it's doing anything.

I'm at it again and having troubles getting a video downloaded from here: http://livestream.com/holycross/events/4711860

The video I am trying to download is the first one "Boston U. at Holy Cross Men's Lacrosse". I don't understand why Livestream.com has so many different ways that they present these files .... anyway, I have youtube-dl and livestreamer installed but am unsure of the code needed to use either. I am on the road so do not have some of my notes from the past, which does not help. I have also had success with a plug-in called Video DownloadHelper, but it does not seem to get me anything but the 1st .f4f segment of the total file.

I suspect the file will be over 2gb, so that may complicate things a bit.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I also have the need to download videos from livestream.
After long google search and test, I find Allavsoft works great in downloading videos from livestream.
I like its batch downloading and dirctly download videos to MP4, AVI, WMV, MPG, MOV.
The only debut is that it only allows to download 5 videos for free.
