    hi yall
i recently captured some gameplay on my 1360x768 tv with fraps
    i recorded a 2 hour file for a total of 300 gb +-
i encoded into mp4 with handbrake using the following encoding settings:
    H.264 (main profile, level 4.0)
    variable framerate
    constanst quality: 20, RF
and with web optimized checkbox checked

i got a 7.55gb file with excellent quality but when i uploaded it onto youtube, the 720p version looks like crap.
    any ideas why?

    tnaks

  2. YouTube always reencodes. They also prefer standard sizes -- 1280x720, 1920x1080 and standard frame rates 24, 25, 29.97 -- not vbr.
Try doing some small samples at various settings and see if the results are any better.
