    yes, that works.

    It's a one time deal for now, but I'm sure the need to edit dvr stuff will come up again. But I should be able to poke around the .bat file and the recorded file streams and figure out some simple editing of the .bat file for future use.

    ffmpeg is like a "swiss army knife" for audio/video manipulation - it's really good for re-wrapping, converting, batch processing

    It's really not that difficult for the simple ffmpeg commands - well worth investing the time learning it
