    I changed your title.

You can reauthor with the old dvdshrink (under the reauthor tab). Add each title, click on the cut-icon to remove parts. And backup. See for example http://www.dvdshrink.info/reauthor_basic.php . But you will lose menus.

You can blank sections with vobblanker. But it might be a bit complex.

    Or use dvdremake pro.

Unable to cut a part of the DVD with Shrink as it removes the entire DVD.

Removes entire dvd? You must add each title manually.

But what and how much do you want to remove?

If you want to skip a chapter (more precisely: a cell), you can do that with PgcEdit by editing the Program Chain (PGC). Note that this only skips the playback of a cell, it does not physically remove the cell from the VOB files – to do that you would have to use VobBlanker afterwards. But unless you really want to physically remove a cell, simply skipping it's playback is enough.

In that case you could split the cell where the part you want to skip begins and also split the cell where you want to continue (using VobBlanker). Then you can go ahead and edit the PGC so that Cell #2 gets skipped during playback.

Both operations are not very hard to do.

In order to edit out a section you don't want to see you are going to have to 'see it' at least once - you can't then 'unsee' what you have already seen.

I know! I know! it sounds bit like Donald Rumsfeld famous quote

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.
