Hello ive been looking on this forum and many others for an answer and have tried a few things without results i need a pro here i think

I do drilling and blasting for a living the other day i did the biggest shot of my career so far and i taped my old phone to a tree to record it ..it all went well the video was awesome i watched it about 3 times with no problems then the 4th time nothing...the phone wouldnt play it anymore laptop wont play it nothing the phone somehow corrupted it after the fact

ive tried some mp4 recovery software and had some luck with grau gmbg video repair tool i paid the 40 dollars for a licence to restore the full video but heres the problem

the original video was 30 mins long 17 of that is dead time before the blast 17-19 mins is the blast and the dust settling and then another 11 minutes till i eventually walk up and take it down from the tree i saw all this on the original video

when i recover the video i get 23 minutes of dead time phone taped in a tree with nothing happening??? the original only had 17mins before the blast so something is looping here or something its hard for me to tell because its taped still in a tree and nothing is moving at all you hear the wind kick up once in a while thats about it... wondering if anyone would be able to help or point me in the right direction to figure this out and get it fixed i was really counting on being able to show some people this video

Maybe you should try/contact www.mp4repair.org . It might be very expensive.

Thanks and sorry i should have been more descriptive in my title my bad... ive tried that mp4 repair online preview it only gives me a 15 minute clip is there a way to tell if im wasting my time here ?if its gone its gone im just holding on to hope that the 2 minutes of video i actually want out of the whole 30 minute clip is still in there somewhere.. none of these recovery tools seem to be finding anything after the 17 minute mark like i said it has 17 mins of no movement then there is all kinds of action the blast and people driving into the quarry me walking up to get the camera etc etc it doesnt seem to be recovering any of this only dead time before the blast.. is there a way to tell for sure if its unrecoverable and im wasting my time? ive read about hex editors and downloaded one but its way above my skill level to understand what all that means
