    A friend of mine has a JVC GR-CIU Video Movie VHSC camcorder with a dead battery. Can anyone direct me to a place that would sell a replacement? I',ve been looking to no avail. He is also in need of the DC input 6.9 volt adapter for the device as well.

    Yes that is going to be hard to find... Now if it is a GR-C1U, since most have a number in place of the 'I', then it will be easier to find:

    https://www.partstore.com/Model/Matsushita/JVC/GRC1U.aspx for one... They also have other parts as well as do the other locations.
    Could it be a GR-C1U model by chance?
