    Hello everybody,

Do you know a good software and not very complicated (because I'm a novice) that can repair or improve the quality of a damaged and jerky video file? I know it's not possible to convert it in HD but just improve it a minimum would be good.

I already tested vReveal but it hasn't really changed the quality. After, I used Video Enhancer that has pretty well repair and moreover expands the dimensions/frame, thanks to its "super resolution" but I would like to be able to repair it a little more.

I should perhaps use a corrupted file repair's software.

    Thank you in advance

FileRepair and Video Repair Tool can't fix the file.

it's the proof that : don't give up! After many hours of research and the help of others peoples on other sites, I have found a compromise.

So I summarize, I use Video Enhancer for improve the quality of the damaged video with his "super resolution" function, and it was not bad, it's kind of repair 20% of it.
I say again that I didn't want to "magically" transform this mediocre video in 720p or 1080p quality, I know it's not possible to create additional pixels, brief.

After, I use a HD converter (ironically xD) and it was quite good! result was better than V.E. , this time I would say that it repair approximately 35% of the video.

And to properly finish it, I used a video editing software for modified it a bit and improve his aspect, the result is really good, not wonderful but better than the original (so : correct!) and played on TV, it's potable.

"Super resolution" can only work on uncompressed or very low compressed very high quality videos.
MPEG compressed SD quality videos do not apply.

My cpu is really exhausted after all that work, a video upload will take too much time for now, if you really want to see it, I upload another screenshot in that case.

newpball : oh ok, thanks for the info.
