When editing clips in Sony Vegas, if I leave a gap between clips (pic below) and I render the video in .wmv format (6Mbps HD 720-30p Video)
    it works like a charm

But if I don't leave the gap or it's too small, the rendered video will be all black, no sound and too short (like 25sec video will be 10-15sec) and
    it renders too fast.

No transitions or video fx has no effect (I mean they do work, but don't affect the issue)

So if you guys could help me I would appreciate it, thanks!

    Hi

    - Does the problem also occur when trying to export to a different format ? (like Sony AVC - mp4 ?)

    - Do the Project Properties & Timeline TC format match 30fps ?

Tested with a couple of 12 sec. events without gaps on the timeline, media settings were not matched. Render template was the same unmodified one as in the OP's post. No problem in the rendered file. Vegas Pro 13 b310. GPU off in Prefs.

When I chose the Sony AVC/MVC (AVCHD 1920x1080-60i) the render was perfect, but there was about 10sec of black & no sound at the end but it's not a problem

    Thanks mates!
