I have downloaded some mkv files from internet and would like to burn them into blu-ray disc for playing in standalone blu-ray player. As revealed from MediaInfo, the mkv files video and audio are encoded respectively in AVC(NTSC) at 29.970 fps and 48.0 kHz, 16 bits, 2 channels, PCM.
I first use Handbrake to convert the video to 23.976 fps and audio to AC3, and then convert it into blu-ray folder format by tsMuxeR. Afterwards, I burn it into blu-ray using ImgBurn. However, when the blu-ray disc is played in PS3, only video signal is available but not audio. What should I do to fix the problem?

Try instead bdtoavchd or avchdcoder to convert it to blu-ray.

Thanks for your reply. I encountered problems in using both recommended programs. Can you enlighten me on how to find the error log for further analysis of the problems?

Have you tried ConvertXtoHD, recently new from VSO. I'm guessing the output will have some type of watermark or other restriction until the software is licensed.

I think the problem is the player, Sony uses Cinavia protection.
Does the disc play ok on your PC?
Have you tried leaving the audio as PCM?
