  2. Can you use the codecs with other programs? Make sure that the codecs are correctly installed on your computer. If you recently upgraded to 1.4.5 you might have to reinstall the codecs.

    Sorry, best I can do...

  4. VD 1.4.5 is pretty new I think. Maybe it will work with an older version of Virtualdub? Just a thought.

  5. Even if they're correctly installed, the codecs might not appear if you haven't chosen a video format they support. Choose Custom Format from the Video menu, set your capture size, and choose a compatible format in the list on the right.

Huffyuv works best with YUY2 or UYVY. Picvideo reportedly works best with 24-bit RGB.

  6. befero i was able to capture at any resolution, my Capture card is a Video Highway Xtreme., it sends uncompressend RGB data so it can accept any codec, and abor resolutions i've been able to capture up to 720x480...

I'm going to intall Premiere right now, to see what happens..

    Thnx for the reply.

  7. Perhaps you should try a older version. I "upgraded" to the newest version over the weekend and it just doesn't want to work for me. I'm moving back to an older version tonight. Anyone else have this problem. The new version freezes on capture and locks the entire computer. The older version works fine.

  8. I've noticed that I can't select the codecs in Premiere, so te problem it's maybe on the Drivers of my TV card, or somewhere else....

i'll try to find a solution..

    Thnx for all the replys...
