  1. Hi, I've got a bit of trouble when reading a DVD (Shrek) I ripped and burnt to DVD-R with my Pioneer A03.
I can read the disk on my lousy bluesky DVD player, but 2 friends cannot read it: 1 got Thomson DTH 5002 and the other one a DUAL.
The DVD-R I used was a Pioneer DVD-R for data (the one bundle with my dvd).

Since Shrek is a bit too big to fit on the DVD so I needed to remove the menu using the well knowned method, keeping only the movie.

    Thanx for help or advices

  2. Maybe their player needs more reflective discs than DVD-R can offer.

Can their players play CD-R audio CDs or CD-R video cds?

  3. goto the dvd players compatability list section on vcdhelp (the bar on your left)....and look up the dvd players in question and c if they support DVD-R or DVD+R or neither or both

  4. I had a look before at the list and they stated that DVD-R can be read (at least for sure by the Thomson), so I wondered whether it could be related to the quality of the DVD itself.
