    Hi ,

    Installed Smplayer this morning ( the latest ) but text was all in a strange language.

    Reinstalled, but same again.

    No idea how to change the text into English as i can`t make sense of the toobar .

    My os is Ubuntu 14.04 , no problems on Windows - Preferences - Interface but not in Linux ?

    If you're using the portable version, open smplayer.ini (located in the program folder) with notepad, look for "language=.." and change to "language=en".

    If you're not using the portable version, the file smplayer.ini may be located in %appdata%. I don't know for sure because I don't use the instalable version.

    Oh. You're using Linux. I guess there should be a preferences file somewhere. Try to find it and make the change I suggested above.
