    Total Newbie Here! Yeah so the file does actually play but I need to edit the file in camtasia but I cannot convert the file I think because of the fact that its seen only as a 1 second file. Or maybe that has nothing to do with it but basically I cannot convert it to edit it which is the problem I am facing, please any help would be appreciated!

    Open it in Mpg2cut2 and export (remux) as an MPG file.

    Cool thanks - I am currently trying that (I think) with MPEG Streamclip. If that fails I will use Mpg2Cut2
