I have an mp4 file converted with Vidcoder and want to chop off the first 90 secs or so.
Can this be done with Vidcoder. If not, is there something else that'll do it without re-encoding the whole thing ?
Thanks.

You can select chapters in vidcoder. But I don't think you can chop by time.
Or else cut with avidemux, video to video converter, free video dub, etc. -
Thanks Baldrick. Can I ask you something else please? I've used Vidcoder on a number of files with success but one is giving problems. The left hand side of the picture is missing. I've tried in it Handbrake as well and it's the same.
However, if I play the original VOB files (WMP Win 7) it's OK.
I haven't made any Settings changes (to either VC or HB) as I'm no idea what they do and suspect I'd just make things worse.
Maybe you could suggest something ? I'd guess about 20% is missing from the LH side. -
You can encode by time in Vidcoder
if switch from Chapters to Time Range -
Check under settings, video/picture and disable automatic cropping.

Thank you Baldrick... that fixed it perfectly.
Roma... thanks for info about Time range. Will investigate !
