    Hello,
I am a composer and guitarist who wants to make videos to put on my website. I need a video/audio editing program that will allow me to make edits anywhere, not just on the frame. I think the command is called "disable quantize to frames." What is the lowest cost software that will do this with the computer specs listed below?

    Thank you for your help,
    Lakevid

    OSX Yosemite version 10.10
    MacBookPro 15 inch, 2.53 GHZ, mid-2009
    Memory 4GB 1067 MHZ DDR3
Graphics NVDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

  2. On a Mac, probably FCPX . You can zoom into audio samples precision which is much more precise than frames. Or maybe Premiere Pro, but it's on a subscription model now from Adobe

Thanks for your help, Johns0 and poisondeathray. I had posted a similar question on another thread and got no responses. This is my second post. Thanks for answering.

    Hi Poisondeathray,
What is the newest version of Final Cut Express which you are recommending? Given my computer specs, will it do what I want?

  6. Understandable mistake, but there's no such thing as final cut express anymore and it wouldn't run on Yosemite even if you could find it. FCPX is Final Cut Pro X (10) and is available directly from Apple.
