Otherwise functioning sony dvd player DVP-NS700H is locked. Product has a parental lock feature.
We keep this in a condo we rent out to vacationers. We never entered a password. At some point, we are not sure who -- but somebody entered a password and locked the dvd tray. We do not know the password. We do not know who entered the password and there are too many past vacationers to ask. The manual does not address this issue. Sony said over the phone they are unable to assist.
IS THERE:
1. Reset Button? We cannot locate this.
2. Password Override?
3. Any tips otherwise?

Another site I found with the manual seems to mention something about it on page 26. I can't download the manual (the site wants you to join before you can do that), but it does show this excerpt with parts cut:
Operating Instructions
Page 26
Locking the disc tray (Child Lock) You can lock the disc tray to prevent children from opening it. Notes • "MULTI-DISC ...in standby mode, press O RETURN, ENTER, and then [/1 on the remote. The player turns on and "LOCKED" appears on the front panel display. The Z button on the player or the remote does not work while the Child Lock is set. To unlock the disc tray When the player is in standby mode, press O RETURN, ... "RESET" under "SETUP" in the Control Menu (page 54), the disc tray remains locked. Resuming Playback From the Point Where You Stopped the Disc (Multi-disc Resume) The player ...I'll see if I can get another copy (probably download it from Sony's site, I'm guessing).
Edit: Okay, from the manual (I'd have copied and pasted the text, instead, but it has button symbols included...)
